Regular club membership fees for the 2008 calendar year are:

Track & Field and Cross Country (Calendar Year)$200.00
Track & Field (Full Season (Indoor & Outdoor)- January 1st - August ) $190.00
Track & Field (Short Season - June thru August 1st) $160.00
(Multiple family athletes - 10% discount per additional athlete)

'Out of Area Athlete'
Track & Field Membership

$110.00
'Out of Area Athlete' memberships are open to any athlete
outside of the greater Chicagoland area.
If you have any questions feel free to contact the club for further information.

"Out of Area" club membership fees cover the cost of a club shirt,
2008 USATF membership and entry in the IL State and Regional Jr. Olympics.
(Up to the maximum number of events for the athlete's age group).

(No multiple family athlete discount for "Out of Area" athletes)

The track season runs from late March - early April through late July, and cross-country runs from early September through late November - early December. Many middle school and high school athletes do not actively participate in the Striders Track Club until after their district and state meets have been completed at the end of May. They are however strongly encouraged to pay their club membership in advance of the completion of their school programs end so that they will be included in our communications network.

Uniforms and Club Apparel
UNIFORMS:

This year we are starting a new uniform policy. Athletes will be given the option to purchase their issued uniform, otherwise the issued uniform must be returned at the end of the season.
ADDITIONAL CLOTHING:

Additional club T-shirts and fleece sweatshirts will be available
Scholarships & Payment Plans
SCHOLARSHIPS:
The Chicago Striders Track Club recognizes that not all families can afford the full registration fee required for club participation. In order not to exclude any child from participation in the Chicago Striders Track Club we are offering a scholarship/reduced fee for athletes who's families qualify. If you believe you may qualify for a scholarship, review and complete a scholarship application and mail it to the address below. (Include all necessary documentation. Application which do not included all requested documentation will be disallowed). All paperwork must be submitted to the club within seven (7) days of the athlete beginning practice. An athlete who is given a scholarship is not registered until the club receives a partial payment of the portion of dues remaining after the scholarship deduction.

PAYMENT PLANS:

Payment plans are available if needed. Contact the club for details. All club dues must be paid in full by June 15th, 2008.

Birth Certificates Does your athlete want to join Chicago Striders Track Club, but you don't have a copy of their Birth Certificate? If you are in need of copy of your child's birth certificate you can order one from Illinois Vital Records. Order a copy of a birth certificate online go to www.vitalcheck.com.

Below are links to the club forms that each athlete will need to complete and return to the club secretary to become a participant with the Chicago Striders Track Club. Feel free to download any of these forms. If you have a problem with downloading a form, contact the club and we will gladly mail a copy to you. You can mail your completed membership forms to the club at the address listed at the top of this page.

REGISTRATION FORMS CHECKLIST
COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING AND MAIL TO THE ADDRESS BELOW.

1.	Complete the 2008 Athlete Registration and Medical Release Form.
2.	Complete the 2008 USATF Registration Form for each athlete.
3.	Complete the scholarship application. (If applicable)
4.	A copy of each athletes proof-of-age (Birth Certificate) document. (If you were a club member in 2007 your birth certificate will still be on file).
5.	A check payable to Chicago Striders for the club membership fees, uniform and any additional clothing ordered.
